The studio is a repurposed shed which was built originally in the 1960s.  It is now externally insulated and clad with black cladding. 

It is a large space with constant light.  There are plywood panels on the walls to allow for easy display of research material and paintings.  The south gable window looks out to Croagh Patrick.

The studio has WIFI.  There is underfloor heating supplied from the cottage and a utility space with double sink and a separate toilet and shower room.
